When looking for an internationally recognized communicator who ignites the atmosphere with contagious enthusiasm and a passion for purpose, you have but to look directly at Gail Hayes or Dr. Gail, as others affectionately call her. Her engaging, humorous, and candid style of communication leaves audiences wanting more and feeling inspired to act on dreams and visions unfulfilled.

Dr. Gail is a contributor for Huffington Post and has also written for MSNBC’s, The Griot. She has shared the platform with stars including Vickie Winans, Bern Nadette Stanis (Thelma of Good Times) and Babbie Mason. She did voice work for the Emmy Award ® Winning Production of the University of NC & Memory Lane’s Editor and the Dragon.

Dr. Gail lived in Asia for over four years and in Europe for over ten years. While in Europe, she served as a training consultant for Office or Personnel Management’s (OPM) European Training Division where she specialized in Leadership, Management/Employee Relations, and numerous other subjects.  She also served as the founder and Director of the first active European Network of the National Association for Female Executives.

Dr. Gail served as the first African American female law enforcement officer and firefighter in Chapel Hill, NC and is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor.  In January 2016, NC Governor Pat McCrory appointed her to serve as a Commissioner on the NC African American Heritage Commission. In July 2016, she was appointed to the Leadership Council of the NC Institute of Political Leadership (IOPA). These experiences enable her to successfully connect and relate to diverse audiences, both male and female. She also serves as an Anti-Bullying & Leadership consultant in the educational arena. 

Dr. Gail is a frequent media guest and also appeared on in the media on the QVC Shopping Channel, NBC’S My Carolina Today, and numerous other programs, including European television. She served as an On-Air talent for UNC-TV where she assisted with fund-raising campaigns. Gail also served for 3 years as the voice of the Motivational Moment on the KD Bowe Morning Radio Show, on The Sheridan Radio Network in 35 markets, and on Detroit’s Radio One, The Karen Dumas Show, the feature spot, Purpose Point with Dr. G.

She is also a professional vocalist and has performed in Europe, Asia and in the US. She is the author of over 30 books including One Minute Success Secrets for Women (Harvest House), The Power of a Woman Who Leads (Harvest House), and You are a Daughter of the King (Harvest House). She is also the publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Handle Your Business Girl Digital Magazine.   She is also the founder of Dr. Gail’s Purpose Points, an empowerment card collection designed to inspire and encourage others to walk in destiny.

Handle Your Business Girl Empowerment Zone, a community where she and her team of Master Life Coaches help others live empowered lives. She is also the MOXIE Exchange Executive for the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina. The MOXIE Exchange is a national organization that helps women live empowered lives.

She is an Empowerment Tactician, Executive Leader, and Master Life Coach who helps others to discover their identities, grasp their purpose, and step into destiny.
