Pursuing a Passion he’s had since the age of 12!
VertiKal Cafe with Hosts Celeste Duckworth and Norman Anderson sat down to talk with Julian Lowenthal who will be premiering two of his feature films in the next few days.
Son of Wolfe Lowenthal. Julian started developing ideas for his films at the age of 12 and launched his Movie Company, “Baer Budget Films,” at the age of 20. He was taught how to edit when he was 16 years old; claiming it was the only class in High School he learned from. Today Julian is a young film and theater entrepreneur, who’s always looking for new projects and people to collaborate with. Within the last year he’s been working on both little and big projects; from producing short youtube videos to acting in industry films such as Robert Downy Jr.’s set “The Judge.”
With the goal to release new short and feature films every month, he’s been constantly linking up with several different production companies’s. He’s currently getting ready to release his short film, “Tripping Balls,” and will start pre-production on a Batman film, “Caped Crusader: The Dark Hours” and then adapt the current play he’s working on, “Death of a Salesman” into a feature film.
His passion for film has been with him since he was very young, but his fierce drive came after the release of his debut short film, “Power Trip. You can see his films on the front page of VertiKal MagaZine in our, “What’s New Section, Video Player or in the Indie Film Section.” Enjoy!
