Beauty from Ashes……
Atlanta, GA (PitchEngine) – BlackCelebrityGiving.com™ (BCG) in conjunction with Sister 2 Sister Magazine’s Publisher™, Jamie Foster Brown, are proud to announce their 2013 Fall cause campaign: Beauty for the Bold. Presented by Hairfinity, Beauty for the Bold is a national awareness campaign and beauty supply drive to benefit domestic violence shelters and celebrate women of strength across the country. The campaign will launch on all online platforms and kick off on November 1, 2013.
Presented by Hairfinity nutritional supplements, the “Beauty For The Bold” campaign’s goal is to collect donated beauty supply items in order to prepare and distribute care packages for over100 domestic violence shelters this fall.
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. Already gaining the support of notables such as Laila Ali, from November 1st – December 1st, 2013, BGC will operate a virtual donation campaign as well as on-site event partnerships around the country.
“Domestic Violence is a cause that most any woman can relate to, whether they have been affected or know someone that has. I am elated to partner with Jamie Foster Brown and Sister 2 Sister Media with the full support of Hairfinity™ to bring awareness and support to both causes through giving back”, states Jasmine Crowe (fFounder ofBlackCelebrityGiving.com™). BCG understand ‘to look good is to feel good’ and through this cause campaign the organizers aim to provide women with more options than basic shampoo and conditioner.
“I am honored to be the brand ambassador for BlackCelebrityGiving.com’s Fall 2013 Beauty For The Bold cause campaign. For the past 25 years Sister2Sister has been committed to empowering women in every aspect of their lives. To know that our partnership with BCG will benefit women and children of domestic violence living in shelters across the country, is confirmation that we are using the power of our platforms to do God’s work,” said Jamie Foster Brown, Publisher/CEO of Sister2Sister Media.
Through December 1st, The BCG #BeautyForTheBold campaign will host several events, profile inspiring women, Twitter chats and forums on domestic violence to bring further awareness to the cause.
