I was interning virtually for Vertikal alongside a full-time job as a kindergarten teacher in China. This was all long before COVID hit and remote working was the norm – but the internship allowed me locational freedom, and an opportunity to flex my writing muscles. I thoroughly enjoyed my time interning for Vertikal – and I was proud of the pieces I wrote.
