Now she has decided to dedicate her career to assisting individuals with starting their own business, starting their own non-profit organization, and small businesses with reorganization and development growth.

As a business consultant, Donya assists individuals with business formation, ensuring their business is properly registered as a legal entity (Inc., LLC, S-Corp, etc.), and assist businesses with completing their certification (WOSB, MBE, DBE, etc.) to bid for government contracts. As a mediator, Donya provides mediation services to the public (individuals, businesses, churches, and community organizations) to resolve disputes in a safe and stress-free environment. Also, Donya assists churches and community organizations with setting up their own mediation programs.

S he has a few books in the works that will be published and released in the latter part of 2015. The books will focus on entrepreneurship, small business, and daily devotionals.

Family & Community Mediation and Business Consulting (FACMBC) provides mediation services and business consulting services to individuals, small businesses, and mid-size businesses. Our services are organized in three areas: mediation, business formation, and certification completion. Future clients will praise us for our work ethics, customer service, and innovative solutions.

FACMBC is committed to providing mediation services and business consulting services to individuals and businesses in an efficient and caring manner. FACMBC motto is "We assist individuals with starting their own businesses because small business is key to economic success and community sustainability, and small business provides individuals with economic independence."

Her business is Powerful Biz Woman (DBA of Family Law & Community Mediation and Business Consulting).  Powerful Biz Woman provides business development, business consulting services, and guidance to women who have the dream and desire to start their own small business or non-profit organization.  Our services are organized into three areas: business development, business consulting and workshops/training seminars geared towards women who desire to start their own business.  Also, we conduct speaking engagements on the following topics: aspiring women business owners, female entrepreneurship and spirituality, how to start a business, and legal aspects of starting a business.

Donya decided to go into business consulting, business development and training development because she wanted to teach others how to properly set up a small business or non-profit organization.  Powerful Biz Woman and FACMBC is her second business.   Donya's first business she had to close because of financial issues, mismanagement and lack of support.   The opportunities she saw with her new businesses could assist women from 30 years old to 60 years old with starting their own business or non-profit organization.

She realized that I had good services to provide to customers, but no products to go with the services.  By drafting a Marketing Plan, she was able to determine the best products to market the services offered by Powerful Biz Woman.  The two products that I discovered would be beneficial to marketing and promoting my business were books and training materials. The books and training materials would be beneficial because they are something tangible that customers can have and use as references. Also, with books and training materials, she can create workshops on the topics discussed in the books and training materials.

The best advice she has given to new entrepreneurs is to ensure that they have a plan written out, have the right support team, and the tenacity to stay with it. They should stay the course no matter what issues or problems may come up when starting a new business.   Contact information if need assistance with setting up one's business or organizing one's business: This email address is being protected from spambots.
